The project is almost complete, and then I will post pictures. I think that the time pressure — must get this done before World Fantasy Con! — was contributing to the failure.

 I have a few more steps to make it absolutely perfect (hah!) and then I will reveal it in all its glory.

But as a hint it involves horses and bats.
