The new office to be.
We have moved one step closer to the new office space. Here’s how it looked over the weekend, when we finally got started on the floor. We chose laminate after all, since it turned out the hardwoods were too beat up to restore. I was bummed, but it looks fantastic. I’m really pleased. As I write this we have finished the floor. All that remains is installing the quarter rounds on the bottom of the baseboards and the transition pieces on the threshold of the door and the closet.

I hope to have pictures of the finished room this weekend. I can’t wait — it will be so exciting to have a real! desk! and space to spread out and my books and files all in one space.

With luck I should have those up on Sunday. Man, I hope I don’t suffer a productivity crash from the change of venue. Then again, who am I kidding — I have basically not written a word except for the screenplay in a month. It can’t be any worse!
