Note to self: stop getting nervous when you read. Otherwise, it was fun. We had a good eclectic mix of folks in the top floor room, and it was a rollicking good time. After I read, I talked about the long strange trip to publication, and people asked lots of great questions. I didn’t keep track of the books I signed, but it was quite a few. (Man, am I lefty or what? I never realized that I write as sideways as all that. )
And I was hoping that Dungiven would go home to a kid and he did! Wilson won! I’ll see Steve next week or so and will pass Dungiven over to him.
On Friday it’s back to BookPeople for Gabrielle Faust‘s signing, and it looks to be quite a party. I’m taking K and her friends because after Gabrielle’s signing is the release party for the final book in Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight series.
So to recap: Gabrielle Faust, reading and signing from her vampire novel Eternal Vigilance. With the band Black Molly as entertainment.
And afterwards, the release party for the fourth Twilight book.
