The new project that wants to be written is not being very polite to the current project. First it was nudging, now it’s elbowing the current project, trying to muscle it out of the way. But the more static it causes, the harder it is to stay focused on the current project. I did think I was going to be able to work on them both but you know the saying: if you want to make God laugh, tell Her your plans.

So anyway, I have two very different projects with two very different protagonists, and it is fitting that new project with a pushy protagonist is acting all pushy and greedy, and current project needs to be quiet but firm.

Gaah! I need to finish current project! Go away, new project! Wait your turn!

The good news is, I have recovered from being bucked off by Chocolate, aka Allegra the stinkyface mare, and I’m ready to ride again on Wednesday.
