Text formatting issues mastered and managed. File looks good. Now for final proofreading. The cover is on the verge of being completed and there will be a preview as early as next week. You guys, The Crow God’s Girl is almost ready for its closeup!
The science fiction/gothic romance/ghost story takes priority right now though, as that deadline is coming up fast. I received excellent feedback from cryptopolis. The interesting thing is that the people who didn’t like it had very good reasons for where it failed, and the people who did like it had the same concerns. So I know where I went wrong and I also am confident that it is one of those stories that just won’t flip up everyone’s skirts.
It was an utter blast to write, though. Now I just have to make it better. And settle on a title.

So….if a gothic novel = A Girl and a House….is a sci-fi/gothic story = A Girl and a House with a UFO flying above it, or maybe A Girl and a House with Two Moons?

A girl and a creaky old spaceship?

Funny you should mention that. There’s a girl. And a house. And a ghost, a space station and lots of lovely tech. And of course a romance.
Story is off to editor. I will let everyone know when the anthology comes out.
