I just wanted to share another review of Gordath Wood. Please note: This was first posted on a site called Gramma’s Reads and can also be seen on Paranormal Romance.

Gordath Wood is just a splendid book! It begins with jumpers (horses that are trained to handle courses with hurdles) and the people who train and care for them. When Lynn Romano decides to ride the prized horse Dungiven home through the Gordath Wood instead of loading him into the trailer; the decision changes her life. She finds herself in a kind of medieval land where the two lords, Tharp and Terrick war over the Red Gate Bridge and the right to control something uncontrollable.

What I love about this (apart from the very good review, of course) is that she summarizes the book way better than the back cover copy. If you ever read Kristen Nelson’s blog, you know she has exercises in creating your own back cover copy. I couldn’t have come up with this if I tried. And I did try. The back cover copy for Gordath Wood came from the publisher and I made a stab at it too, but nothing I wrote worked.

Hey Patrice!
I loved Lonely Cries the Winter Wind. Now are you a believer in things magical? I usually leave a little room for anything’s possible. Pati

Thanks, Pati!

Yeah, I think there’s more to the world than meets the eye, definitely. I should probably write about my magic credo. I’m not like many fantasy writers in that I have lots of magic in my stories. I just like a little bit of magic, just what you catch out of the corner of your eye.
