Lemon meringue — mmmmm!

My lemon meringue pie came in second at today’s bakeoff at work. Kenny took first place with an apple pie, and Amy took third with her ancho chile fudge pie.

 Work was fun today. There were like two dozen pies, which would have been enough, but we also had barbecue and a barbecue sauce cookoff as well.

 Yum!

And she bakes, too! Congratulations on your pie- lemon meringue is my second favorite, key lime being no. 1.

I knew that about you! I like key lime too, but for some reason, it surpasses my baking skills and I’ve never been pleased with my results. I do have a bunch of limes though. Maybe I should try again.
